Mark joined Werribee as CEO in October 2003. He was previously General Manager of the Western Region Football League and has an extensive history in football both as an administrator and player with the Port Melbourne Colts Football Club. Mark is a Life Member of both the Port Melbourne Colts and also of the WRFL. He lives in Werribee South with his wife Narelle.

In 2021, Mark was awarded VFL Life Membership and is currently the longest-serving CEO of a VFL club.

Sam Wharton, a Werribee local, joined the club ahead of the 2025 season as Operations Coordinator after three years as Communications and Promotions Manager at the not-for-profit charity Reclink Australia, with which the Werribee Football Club has had a long-standing partnership.

Before his time with Reclink, Wharton built a strong background in the VFL, spending seven years with fellow standalone club Port Melbourne Football Club. During his time with the Borough he worked across a number of areas including administration, media and operations, bringing a wealth of experience to Melbourne Avalon Airport Oval. Now entering his second season in the role, Wharton continues to oversee the club’s football operations program.

Kevin has been the Werribee Media Manager since 2004. Kevin and his wife Sarah Patterson run their own company Howdy Partners Media which works for a variety of organisations. Kevin has had a long and successful career in radio at stations like 3XY, Fox FM, Triple M and SEN. Kevin is the author of three books on football and one of Melbourne’s best known MC’s and voice over artists. Kevin is a Life Member of the Western Bulldogs.
