JAKE RICCARDI TALKS FINALS AND HIS STUNNING VFL DEBUT SEASON
It has been one hell of a week for Werribee’s teenage goalkicking sensation Jake Riccardi. After booting a career-high six goals against Coburg, Riccardi was hot property. Take a look at his week down Media Street.
VICTORIAN STATE DRAFT COMBINE INVITATION
Werribee young guns Bior Malual, Jake Riccardi and Louis Pinnuck have been invited to attend Victorian State Draft Combines in early October after eye-catching performances at VFL level in 2019.
The richly talented 19-year-old athletic forward has risen rapidly in VFL ranks after graduating from the Calder Cannons at the end of 2018. Despite his age and inexperience, Riccardi has stepped up to be Werribee’s focal point in attack in 2019 with his contested marking, agility and goalkicking nous all highlights of his developing skillset. He sits second on the VFL’s goalkicking table with 34 majors and has kicked goals in all bar one game, as well as two or more on ten occasions. –Click here for the full story
