Werribee Local Tullio Re-Signs
05 November 2025
Local youngster Noah Tullio is set to go around for his second season at VFL level after re-signing with Werribee for 2026.
The 169 cm, 19-year-old joined Werribee ahead of the 2025 season and impressed through pre-season before being one of nine Werribee debutants in Round 1. He kicked his first goal the following week in Werribee’s first win of the season against Essendon and then produced a career-high 17 disposals and six inside 50s in Round 3.
In Round 4, Tullio travelled to Sydney as an emergency, but his season was soon cut short after suffering a syndesmosis injury while playing for Newtown & Chilwell in his first senior game at local level the following week.
Though his VFL campaign ended after three games, he showed promising signs, averaging close to 13 disposals, four inside 50s and four score involvements per game.
Tullio made a successful return locally once Werribee’s season concluded, bringing an end to 119 days on the sidelines. He played five games for Newtown to finish the year, although the young Eagles side bowed out in straight sets after finishing second on the ladder.
Tullio spoke about returning for next season:
“I am super keen to be back at Werribee for 2026. Absolute no brainer for me, I love the club and everyone involved. I am very excited to get back to work with the boys and be a part of what’s to come.”
A Werribee local, Tullio joined the club after a standout 2024 season with the Geelong Falcons, where he played 16 games, kicked 16 goals, was named in the best nine times and earned Vic Country selection. He trialled with Werribee for three weeks during the pre-season before being signed to the senior list.
He played his junior football at Werribee Districts before joining Geelong Football League side Newtown & Chilwell in 2015. After signing for the club, Tullio said being able to play at the club right around the corner from home is something he has always thought about growing up.
“It’s pretty surreal to be honest,” he said. “Some of the boys are travelling for two hours, and I’m five minutes down the road.”
He will now look to build on his first year of experience as part of Werribee’s 2026 campaign.
It is time to write the next chapter in the history of the Werribee Football Club.
