Injury news: Malual’s 100th game on hold
14 July 2025

99-gamer Bior Malual has been ruled out of Sunday’s Round 17 clash with Coburg after sustaining a facial injury in last weekend’s game against Casey.
Malual suffered the injury during the first quarter but played out the match before scans post-game confirmed the extent of the injury.
The milestone 100th game will now be put on hold for the 28-year-old, who had been coming into the Casey match in outstanding form, earning the Totally Workwear Player of the Match award twice in the past month.
Malual’s availability will be assessed in the lead-up to Werribee’s Round 18 clash with Richmond.
