Round 13 - Werribee vs Williamstown (Home)

13 June 2024

Werribee will be facing arch rival Williamstown for the second time of the season in round 13 following the midseason bye.

The clash at Avalon Airport Oval on Saturday will celebrate Diversity Day. Werribee will don a diversity guernsey designed by local South Sudanese artist John Mathet.

AFL CEO Andrew Dillon will be the guest speaker for the pre-game president’s function and anyone interested in hearing him can purchase tickets here.

Werribee come into the clash well-rested after a 14-day break, riding a five-game win streak and sitting third on the ladder. Their last loss was against Williamstown in round 5, where the Seagulls were victorious by 52 points in challenging conditions at DSV Stadium.

Williamstown currently sits sixth on the ladder and will face the Northern Bullants this weekend. The Seagulls have recently suffered two consecutive losses, including a 45-point defeat at home to Southport last weekend.
