Brew Takes Lead as Four Werribee Players Poll Round 11 Coaches Votes

After a fifth consecutive win Werribee dominated the votes for the rebel Coaches MVP Award with four players polling in the round 11 victory over Frankston.
Dom Brew in his 100th game was awarded an equal game high nine coaches votes, which has seen him take the lead in the prestigious award at the midpoint of the season. The inside midfielder collected a game and season high 36 disposals, with 21 contested possessions and eight tackles to mark his milestone in classic Dom Brew fashion.
Louis Pinnuck was also awarded nine coaches votes as the in-form defender gathered 29 disposals, a massive 16 marks and six rebound 50s. It was a performance which saw him awarded the Totally Workwear Player of the Round.
Key forward Hudson Garoni got three votes after his four-goal haul lifted him to third in the Jim 'Frosty' Miller Medal. To go with his four goals, Garoni took nine marks and found 14 disposals.
Jesse Clark was also recognised with two votes after the defender gathered career highs in disposals and marks. Clark ended with 21 disposals, including 19 kicks, and 14 marks.
Brew rises to the top of the leaderboard for the first time of the season, holding a lead of seven votes over Geelong AFL listed midfielder Mitch Hardie. Reigning J. J. Liston Trophy winner Jarryd Lyons rounds out the top three 11 votes behind Brew on 48.
