Small forward Grintell joins Werribee for 2023

Werribee has secured the services of small forward Harry Grintell for the 2023 campaign.
The 20-year-old spent the past season with Greater Western Sydney’s VFL side appearing in 17 matches after graduating from the Giants Academy.
A three-goal performance against Werribee in round 9 and a 21-disposal effort against Footscray in the Giants’ final game of the season were among his best showings in 2022.
Werribee football manager Mark Micallef said Grintell was a nice addition for the club.
“Harry is an exciting get for us as a small forward,” he said.
“He’s a country boy from Narrandera NSW, who before this year spent time with the GWS Academy where he has been involved in their senior programs.
"As a player he is skilled, hard at the footy and has a bit of cheek and we think he can really add something for us in the front half of the ground.”
