Werribee returns from the Round 18 bye this Saturday to host Footscray, with the HealthWest Cup once again up for grabs.

Since 2015, the HealthWest Cup has helped raise awareness of the vital healthcare services available across Melbourne's western suburbs. For this year's home fixture, Werribee has teamed up with St Vincent's Private Hospital to highlight the medical services available across Wyndham.

The HealthWest Cup rivalry enters its tenth chapter this Saturday, with Footscray holding the trophy after denying Werribee a third consecutive title in Round 3 last season, kicking the winning goal with one of the final kicks of the game to claim a four-point victory. The Bulldogs lead the overall HealthWest Cup series 6-3.

The Round 19 clash at Melbourne Avalon Airport Oval gets underway from 12.05pm on Saturday, August 1.

Back in the VFL's primetime ABC timeslot, the match will be broadcast live and free on ABC, giving supporters unable to make it to the ground the chance to tune in.

Werribee enters the clash in outstanding form, chasing a ninth consecutive victory after taking an eight-game winning streak into the bye. The club's last defeat came back in Round 6 against Port Melbourne on May 3, before signing off prior to the break with a convincing 38-point win over the Borough.

Footscray sits 14th on the ladder with a 7-8 record from its 15 matches this season. The reigning premiers have found some form in recent weeks, winning their past two matches, including a 74-point victory over 21st-placed Richmond in their most recent outing.
