Werribee has made four changes for Sunday's massive home clash with Port Melbourne, with one of the inclusions becoming the club's 17th debutant of the 2026 season.

Micah Robb will pull on the No. 45 guernsey, making not only his Werribee debut, but his VFL debut.

Robb arrived at the club during the pre-season on trial for a list spot. After battling injury throughout much of the summer, he was offered a train-on position before producing a string of standout performances at local level that could no longer be ignored. The 21-year-old was elevated to Werribee's senior list last week, earning the first VFL list spot of his career. After being named as an emergency against St Kilda, Robb has now been rewarded with a place in the final 23 for Round 17.

Playing his local football with the Colac Tigers in the Geelong Football League, Robb has excelled as a half forward who can rotate through the midfield. He heads into his debut in outstanding form, averaging 22 disposals, more than 10 contested possessions, six tackles and a goal per game this season.

His selection comes after a dominant performance last weekend, where he collected 29 disposals, 18 contested possessions, 13 tackles and 175 ranking points in a complete display at both ends of the ground. It continued an exceptional run of consistency, having recorded at least 22 disposals and 10 contested possessions in each of his past five matches.

Robb played his junior football with Alvie in the Colac and District Football Netball League, where he also developed into a talented cricketer.

In 2023 he was named at half forward in the league Team of the Year, before enjoying a breakout 2024 season. Already in his fourth year of senior football at just 19 years of age, Robb kicked 20 goals from 20 games, was named among the best players 13 times and claimed the Under 21 Max Gray Memorial Medal as the competition's best player under 21.

Following that season, Robb put his promising cricket career on hold, stepping away from premier cricket with Geelong Cricket Club to focus on football.

The move paid immediate dividends. Robb joined the Colac Tigers in the Geelong Football League for 2025 to test himself at a higher level and, in his first season at the club, won the Tigers' Rising Star award. His impressive form earned him an invitation to trial with Werribee ahead of the 2026 season, culminating in Sunday's VFL debut.

Robb is joined in Werribee's Round 17 side by three significant inclusions. Brady Wright and Xavier Ivisic both return after being late withdrawals against St Kilda, while Daly Andrews will play his first game of 2026.

Andrews returned to football midway through the season after spending five months working overseas during the off-season. Since then, he has put together an outstanding five-week stretch with Yarraville Seddon Eagles in the Western Football Netball League to force his way back into the Werribee line-up.
