As Werribee returned to Victoria for their first game in the home state in 2026, a six-goal lead in the first half did not prove enough, with Sandringham running out 16-point winners.

Recording their first win as a standalone side since 1999, the Zebras’ 23 shots on goal made the difference, winning at Trevor Barker Beach Oval 10.13.73 to Werribee’s 8.9.57.
