Back-to-back goals in the opening minutes to Williamstown’s Willie Wheeler set the tone for the visitors , who consigned Werribee to yet another poor start. Both sides traded goals regularly throughout the fast-paced clash in bitterly cold conditions at Chirnside Park. Matt Munro booted five goals in a masterful display, while leaders Michael Barlow, Matt Hanson and Daniel Nielson were other strong performers.
