The VFL has today confirmed dates and times for Rounds 14-20 of the 2026 Smithy’s VFL season, locking in Werribee’s fixture for the second half of the home-and-away campaign.

A televised clash against Carlton, an ABC broadcast against Footscray and a first-ever meeting with St Kilda’s standalone VFL side headline the fixture release, while four home games remain at Melbourne Avalon Airport Oval across the run home.

The schedule begins with a trip to IKON Park on Saturday, June 27, where Werribee will take on Carlton in a clash selected for live Kayo Sports coverage from 10:00am.

Werribee then returns home to host Brisbane on July 4 before travelling to RSEA Park a week later to take on St Kilda. The Round 16 clash will mark the first meeting between the clubs, with the Saints entering a standalone side into the Smithy’s VFL competition for the first time in 2026.

Werribee's final home fixture before a Round 18 bye comes against Port Melbourne on July 19, with the Borough returning to Melbourne Avalon Airport Oval for the second meeting between the clubs this season after their Round 6 clash at ETU Stadium. The match will also double as Werribee’s annual Past Players Day.

Following a Round 18 bye, Werribee returns home to host Footscray on Saturday, August 1 in a match selected for live ABC coverage from 12:05pm.

The final confirmed fixture of the home-and-away season sees Werribee travel to North Hobart Oval on August 8 to take on Tasmania. The clash will be the second meeting between the clubs this season following their thrilling draw at Melbourne Avalon Airport Oval in Round 7, and represents Werribee’s only interstate trip across the final block of fixtures.

Scheduling for Round 21 is yet to be confirmed, with Werribee set to host Sandringham in the final home-and-away match of the season. The clash will be the second meeting between the clubs in 2026 after they met at Trevor Barker Beach Oval in Round 2.

Wildcard Round has been retained and will be played over the weekend of August 22-23, featuring two matches between seventh and tenth, and eighth and ninth. The two winners will advance to the VFL Finals Series, with the highest-ranked winner entering the finals as the seventh-placed team. The top six teams on the ladder will receive a pre-finals bye.
