Werribee Football Club is pleased to announce Ajang Kuol mun and Danni Camillo as the latest recipients of the Corked Player of the Month and Corked Volunteer of the Month awards for the 2026 season.

Presented monthly throughout the year, the awards recognise standout contributions both on and off the field, with each recipient receiving a Corked voucher to enjoy the local Watton Street venue, which joined the club as a partner ahead of the 2026 season.

Ajang Kuol mun earns Player of the Month honours after an impressive stretch across Rounds 5-7, continuing his strong first campaign in the black and gold.

The athletic ruckman kicked off the month being named the Totally Workwear Hoppers Crossing Player of the Match in the ANZAC Day victory over Williamstown.

In the 97-72 win, Kuol mun was influential with 16 disposals, 12 contested possessions, 28 hitouts and eight clearances, while also kicking his first goal for the club after clunking a strong contested mark in the goal square during the final quarter.

The following week against his former side Port Melbourne, Kuol mun again battled strongly in the ruck, finishing with a career-high 47 hitouts to go with 11 disposals, seven clearances and another goal.

He capped off the month with another outstanding performance in Werribee’s draw against Tasmania at Melbourne Avalon Airport Oval, recording 16 disposals, 38 hitouts, seven clearances and a set shot goal in one of the games of the VFL season.

Off the field, Danni Camillo has been recognised for her ongoing contribution, particularly her volunteer work on match days at Melbourne Avalon Airport Oval. Danni spends time at the front gate to help distribute membership packs to members while also assisting with membership sales and supporter engagement throughout the day.

Her connection with Werribee stretches back years to her time working locally with Star Weekly, where she first built strong ties with the club.

Now as Customer Experience Coordinator at WynActive, one of Werribee’s valued partners, Danni plays an important role in promoting the club throughout the venue while also continuing to strengthen the relationship between WynActive and Werribee Football Club.
