Werribee returns from its first bye of the 2026 season this Saturday, hosting Collingwood at Melbourne Avalon Airport Oval.

Please note the start time for the clash has been brought forward to 11:05am.

Werribee enters the match off the back of a 14-day break and sits just one spot outside the wildcard positions in 11th on the VFL ladder.

It shapes as another big home game for Werribee, following the club’s thrilling 97-apiece draw with Tasmania in Round 7, played in front of a strong crowd at Melbourne Avalon Airport Oval in one of the games of the season.

That result moved Werribee’s season ledger to 3-3-1, following a win away at Williamstown on ANZAC Day and a tough trip to Port Melbourne the week prior.

Collingwood comes into Saturday’s clash sitting 18th on the VFL ladder and will be looking to snap a three-game losing streak. The Magpies’ most recent outing resulted in a 52-point loss to Sydney away from home last Friday night.

Werribee members receive free entry to all home games and are encouraged to secure their membership ahead of Saturday’s clash, or at the gate on arrival. Any memberships already purchased but not yet delivered will be available for collection at the gate.

Fans attending the game are also encouraged to purchase tickets prior to match day. Tickets are available here.

Supporters can also start their matchday experience at the club’s President’s Function, beginning from midday, featuring guest speakers and some of the best seats in the house.

For fans unable to make it to Melbourne Avalon Airport Oval, the game will be broadcast live on ABC and streamed free via the AFL website and app.
