Werribee returns home this Saturday after two games on the road, taking on the Tasmanian Devils at Melbourne Avalon Airport Oval.

The 1:05pm clash marks Werribee’s first official meeting with the VFL’s newest side, ahead of the Devils’ transition into the AFL competition in 2028.

Werribee will be looking to respond after last Sunday’s 26-point defeat to Port Melbourne at ETU Stadium saw their season ledger move to three wins and three losses.

The Borough loss came after back-to-back victories that lifted Werribee into the top eight at the end of Round 5. Those wins included a strong home performance against Frankston, before the side travelled to DSV Stadium and defeated Williamstown away from home for the first time since 2022 in a blockbuster ANZAC Day clash under lights.

The Devils enter the Round 7 contest sitting third on the Smithy’s VFL ladder, with just one loss to their name in their 2026 Smithy’s VFL campaign.

Their most recent outing also came last Sunday, where they defeated Sandringham by 26 points in a high-scoring affair at UTAS Stadium in Launceston.

Saturday will also mark Tasmania’s second match in Melbourne for the 2026 season, after the Devils travelled to Frankston on Good Friday and recorded a 78-point victory in front of a big crowd at Kinetic Stadium.

Werribee members receive free entry to all home games and are encouraged to secure their membership ahead of Saturday’s clash, or at the gate on arrival. Any memberships already purchased but not yet delivered will be available for collection at the gate.

Fans attending the game are also encouraged to purchase tickets prior to the match, with a big crowd expected at Melbourne Avalon Airport Oval. Tickets are available here.
