VFL football returns this weekend following the 2026 State Game break, with Werribee set to face Frankston this Saturday.

The standalone clash sees Werribee at Melbourne Avalon Airport Oval hosting the Dolphins in a 2:05pm contest.

Werribee will be looking to respond after a slow start in their opening home game of the year proved costly in a 44-point loss to Geelong in Round 3.

The week still delivered some positives, with Louis Pinnuck captaining the VFL State Team to victory over the SANFL. Pinnuck led a strong Werribee contingent, Dom Brew, Jesse Clark, Ryan Eyers and Jack Riding, to a five-point win in a thriller in Adelaide.

Werribee sits 16th on the ladder and enters Round 4 with a 1–2 record, having produced its best performance of the season in a Round 1 win away win against the Suns.

Frankston comes into the clash in 17th spot also with a 1–2 record. The Dolphins are coming off a 78-point loss to Tasmania, which followed their first win of the season, an eight-point victory over St Kilda.

Saturday’s match will also mark Frankston’s first trip away from Kinetic Stadium this season.

Werribee members receive free entry to all home games and are encouraged to secure their membership ahead of Saturday or at the gate on arrival. Any memberships already purchased will be available for collection at the gate.
