One of Werribee’s longest-standing partnerships continues in 2026, with Werribee Steel once again on board as a Gold Sponsor of the football club.

What began more than 20 years ago with Werribee Steel providing pegs to secure ground covers and brackets for fence signage has grown into one of the club’s most significant and valued partnerships.

Located within just a kilometre of Melbourne Avalon Airport Oval, Werribee Steel was established in 1967 as a family-run business and has become an industry leader with more than 50 years of experience, delivering high-quality structural steel solutions for builders across the state, as well as custom designs for local projects.

The support extends well beyond the business, with Werribee Steel General Manager Marco De Muri becoming a valued part of the Werribee FC family. Over the past 12 months, Marco has volunteered his time at training sessions and match days, even travelling with the group for our Round 1 clash against Gold Coast at People First Stadium to kick off the 2026 season.

Marco also proudly sponsors Cooper Whyte, with the pair pictured together in front of Werribee Steel signage behind the goals.

Speaking on the long-standing commitment to the club, Marco De Muri said:

We absolutely love coming along to each game to give our support and for me personally, becoming a volunteer and supporting the club in different roles has brought so much joy.
