Werribee will be looking to go 2-0 this Saturday as they return to Victoria for an away clash against Sandringham.

The Tigers head to the bay for a midday matchup at Trevor Barker Beach Oval, their first game back on home soil following an impressive Round 1 performance.

After last weekend’s game was broadcast live on Kayo and Fox Footy as part of the VFL’s new broadcast deal, Werribee will again be in the spotlight, with Saturday’s clash set to be shown live on ABC, marking the club’s first appearance on the network in over a decade.

Werribee opened their 2026 campaign in style, travelling to Queensland to defeat a strong Gold Coast Suns lineup featuring a number of top-ten draft picks. In 27-degree conditions, the Tigers led at every change in Dan Lowther’s first game in charge, running out 15-point winners.

Sandringham, now a standalone side for the first time since 1999 following the end of their St Kilda affiliation, began their season with a 14-point loss to Port Melbourne.

Werribee members can access half-price tickets for the clash and are encouraged to pre-purchase here. 

The game gets underway at 12:05pm, with the match broadcast live on ABC and streamed free via the AFL website and app.
