Practice match team: Werribee vs Williamstown

Returning Werribee midfielder Ben Moloney will don the club colours in a game-day setting for the first time in six years when runs out for tomorrow's practice match against Williamstown.

The 26-year-old, who has been plying his trade in the VFL with Collingwood and Geelong since departing Avalon Airport Oval in 2012, has been named as part of a 30-man squad to take on the Seagulls at Deakin University in Waurn Ponds.

Lining up alongside Moloney in the midfield will be fellow recruit and premiership teammate Brenton Rees and former North Ballarat ruckman Nick Nott, who will both make their first appearances in the "big W".

It will be the first time Moloney and Rees have played together since last year's Geelong Football League grand final triumph with St Joseph's, the former's interchange club.

The game will also provide an important first-up hitout for a number of experienced Werribee campaigners, with Matt Hanson, Kurt Aylett, Josh Corbett, Matthew Munro, Louis Pinnuck, Nick Buykx, and Charlie Bance all getting their first taste of game time for 2018.

Tomorrow's match kicks off at noon. Entry is free.
