The Werribee Football Club is pleased that Jeff Andrews has been appointed as senior coach of the Central District Football Club in the SANFL.
Werribee's season officially came to a close almost a month ago, but the work didn't stop there for talented trio Jake Riccardi, Bior Malual and Louis Pinnuck who all performed strongly in front of AFL recruiters at Saturday's NAB AFL State & Rookie Me Draft Combines held at the State Netball & Hockey Centre.
Werribee's resident snapper Belinda Vitacca captured all the glitz and glamour of the 2019 Bruce Montgomery Trophy held at the sparkling Chirnsides by the River last week. A first-time winner of the Senior Best & Fairest was crowned, while the club's all-time leading goal kicker Kevin Leece was inducted as a Legend into the Werribee Hall of Fame.

Prolific Werribee midfielder Tom Gribble blitzed the field to claim the coveted 2019 J.J. Liston Trophy by eight votes, capping off a special night for the club at the VFL Best & Fairest celebration at Crown Palladium.
