As the Werribee Football Club prepares to unveil its exciting newly renovated home at Avalon Airport Oval, it is pleased to announce its partnership with Bendigo Bank will continue through the 2018 season.
The relationship is a natural synergy according to Bendigo business banking manager Andrew Palmer.
“Bendigo Bank is a community-based organisation, with profits being distributed back into the community,” Mr Palmer said.
“Through our commitment to the club, the bank would like to be the major banker for players, staff, sponsors, and supporters.
“Bendigo Bank offers everything that the others do plus a lot more. The big difference is what we put back into the community.”
Mr Palmer said he shared the community excitement towards Werribee’s new facility, having recently had the opportunity for a sneak preview during a recent sponsor walkthrough.
“My first impression was that this facility outshines what other VFL clubs have to offer, even those aligned to AFL clubs,” he said.
“The board needs to be congratulated.”
Werribee business Development Manager Darren Hellmann welcomed Bendigo re-signing as the club's official banking partner as another positive step forward in 2018.
“We have had a strong relationship with Bendigo as we share a common committed community focus,” he said.
“They offer great services to our members and supporters. Together, we are doing our best for the people of the City of Wyndham.”
