Jake Sharp is among several Werribee players eyeing a return to the field in the coming weeks.
An important member of the club’s leadership group, the versatile 22-year-old has missed the last three games with rib soreness but will undergo testing later in the week to determine his availability for Saturday’s clash with Richmond.
A late withdrawal from last weekend’s game after injuring his thumb, defender Ryley Barrack is also waiting on an assessment on his match fitness, while Kurt Aylett is also closing in on a long-awaited return.
